Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, contact us directly.

How do I get a free postal pack?
Fill out the form on our postal pack page with your name and address. We will send you a pre-paid postal pack within 1-2 working days with the instructions you need to send your items safely.
Is there a minimum value for items?
There is no strict minimum, but items do need some collectible or precious-metal value. If you are unsure, contact us before posting anything and we will guide you.
How long does the valuation take?
Once we receive your items, our experts typically complete the assessment within 48 hours. For larger collections, it may take a little longer. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
What happens if I decline the offer?
We return all your items by insured, tracked post at no cost to you. There is no obligation to sell.
How do I get paid?
Once you accept our offer, we arrange payment by bank transfer. In most cases this is handled the same day during business hours.
Are my items insured during transit?
Yes. The postal service we arrange is insured. If you believe a parcel needs extra cover because of the likely value or the type of item, contact us before you send it and we will advise on the safest next step.
What if my items are too large or delicate to post?
Contact us before sending anything. We will talk through what you have and advise on the safest and most practical next step for the collection.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Northern Ireland and handle postal selling across the UK. If you are unsure whether your items are suitable, contact us first and we will guide you.
Can I send photos for an initial estimate?
Contact us first and tell us what you have. We will review the details and explain whether a postal pack or another route makes the most sense before you send anything.
Do you buy damaged or broken items?
Yes. Broken jewellery, non-working watches, and damaged silver can still have value. Scrap gold and silver are always considered.
